17 Weeks Pregnant

DSC_3911

Yes, I’m huge. But surprisingly I have not gained much weight and I definitely have not gained as much weight as I did when I was pregnant with Josie.

How far along?  17 weeks.

Size of baby: The size of an turnip or iPhone (whichever website you follow).

Weight gain: 125 lbs.

Stretch marks: Not yet…but I am huge!

Gender: GIRL!

Nursery: Well, we probably won’t really buy anything until close to delivery or even afterwards since she probably won’t be in her crib/room until she’s about 6 months old. I was thinking teal and pink but who knows, that could change.

Maternity clothes: I would really love some new summer stuff.

Sleep: It’s been terrible this week since I have been fighting a cold (again!) and Josie wakes up coughing constantly.

Best moment the week: We took Josie to the beach, it was a lot of fun. Also (not good news, but…), we found out Josie has asthma (officially diagnosed). More on that later…

Food cravings: Cottage cheese and lots of fruit for breakfast. Pineapple, honeydew melon. Lots of salads for lunch or dinner. Bread (gluten free) with butter. Cucumber with olive oil and vinegar dressing. Olive Garden salads!

Food aversions:  Nothing really that I can think of.

Symptoms: My face is better that I’ve got a little bit of sun. But I have tiny pimples that are all over my entire face that you can only see up close or when I wash my face with my hands and feel it. I feel like I’m peeing a lot more in the middle of the night. My belly is getting so big and I get so tired by end of the day. Horrible migraines.

Mood: Excited.

Movement: I felt her make some pretty intense moves this week.

What I’m looking forward to: Bobby coming home next week!

What I miss: Energy!

…still no names…
