30 Days of Thanks: Day 1

Today is the 1st of November.  And this month I’m going to take all 30 days to talk about different things that I am thankful for.  I am calling this my “30 Days of Thanks”.

Although, I seem to be very busy lately with work and the Nurse Residency Program I am in, getting something posted each day may be difficult.  But, whether it is a short post or a long one, I am making sure I take each day to thank the good Lord for this beautiful life I have been blessed with. And to express how thankful I am for 30 wonderful things in my life.

(Note:  These are in no particular order of importance.)

So, with that being said, I am starting out Day 1 with this guy right here.

He is my rock.  He is my best friend.  My soul mate and my world.  Without him, there would be no me.  And I mean that.  His amazing persona has influenced years of work on me.  I allowed him to influence the person I was into the person I am.   And as a result, he brings out the best in me.  His boundless qualities are limitless and some days I feel less than deserved of his love and affection.  He is, by far, the most incredible person I have ever met.  And today, I thank God for his love, his encouragement, his trust and his commitment.  I thank God for his honesty, faithfulness and friendship.   His hard work and dedication in everything big or small.  His never ending positivity and respect.  His hugs and kisses that never, ever get old.  And for the butterflies I still feel when he moves just a little bit closer.

So today, I am thankful for my husband, my best friend and the father of our child.
