The first time we went to the zoo we became annual pass holders. It was so great. I have only been to The Detroit Zoo and the Toledo Zoo and Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo was by far 100% better. It was easy to get around and the trees and palm trees made it very welcoming. There were a lot of exhibits but the first time we went (Bobby, me and Josie), was so late in the day so most of the animals were sleeping or hiding away because it was so hot outside. The second time we went, Josie and I went with my mom. It was cloudy and perfect out. We spent the entire day there. From morning until afternoon and literally got into the car as the rain came. It was perfect timing. We had a blast. The monkeys were making noises, we rode the safari, mom fed the giraffe, and we saw the tigers and the penguins were even out. It was such a good day for the zoo! Josie loves birds. She points to them and says “burrrr”. She is so interactive with other kids and loves to play in the water anytime the opportunity arises. My little water baby is so full of energy and is so smart!

The Zoo also has an event called ZooBoo. When Bobby came back home from work we took Josie. We got her all dressed up in her lady bug costume and had a blast going around looking at all the “not so scary” places and taking her up to each station to get candy. It was such a cute idea for the little ones.
