We are halfway there! How far along? 20 weeks.
Size of baby: The size of a banana.
Weight: I still weigh 128 lbs.
Stretch marks: Not yet.
Gender: GIRL!
Nursery: Teal and Pink.
Maternity clothes: Still living in the comfortable stuff.
Sleep: Terrible sleep, cramping and bleeding every day (low placenta), I can’t do much around the house.
Best moment the week: Josie is speaking in sentences and it’s adorable (explains her lack of sleep-that brain in working in overdrive!). She sings the alphabet, songs and asks questions. More specifically “why?” It is so damn cute! We saw Baby Girl #2 on the ultrasound this week for my Level 2 ultrasound. It was a long one but it was really cool to see her move and jump around in there. She is definitely a kicker! The tech was so shocked at how active she was. I hope that doesn’t mean we have our hands full when she comes. I got my hair colored blonder this week, we went to Sarasota Beach and Josie had such a great time in the water with us. Unfortunately, I was put off work because of the low laying placenta and the bleeding/cramping. Another awesome moment: BOBBY FELT HER KICK! It was first thing in the morning before I even get up and out of bed. Once I open my eyes, she starts moving like crazy! I grabbed his hand and said “feel!” and he waited and waited and then she kicked him! It was an awesome moment.
Food cravings: I have been craving (for weeks), fried pickles but have not had a chance to make them. Also, pizza. We made a gluten free pizza and just about burned out house down. Just kidding. But no really, the smoke from the melting cheese and water from the tomatoes had the oven smoking like crazy. I was freaking out and it smelled so bad.
Food aversions: Nothing really that I can think of.
Symptoms: Sleep is still terrible. I bleed every night and cramp so bad by the end of the day. I can’t complain about my face, because it seems like it’s gotten better and definitely nothing like it was with Josie. My hair is healthy and my skin feels good. It’s not dry like it was with Josie either (yet).
Mood: Trying to relax!
Movement: It feels like she’s moving constantly.
What I’m looking forward to: When Bobby comes back home again.
What I miss: Being able to do anything without worrying.
Omg I love this post. A wonderful legacy for your kids
