25 Weeks Pregnant

How far along: 25 Weeks.

How big is baby: About the size of an average rutabaga.  And no, I’m not quite sure what a rutabaga is either.

Total weight gain: 20 + lbs.

Maternity Clothes: Yes

Sleep: Sleep has been awful! I am still waking up on my back. And also with extreme left and right round ligament pain randomly through the night. I literally wake up screaming and Bobby jumps up and always asks “are you okay?” and I am a few minutes later. I think she is starting to jab her little foot into my sides.

Best moment of the week:  Watching her move like crazy (inside my belly). I love watching my belly. It was just kicks here and there but it is constant moving now. Sort of freaky and looks like an alien in there. It’s amazing. Also, making another baby purchase off Esty for her nursery. I am slowly getting it together. And I will post that update later.

Food Cravings:  Nothing. Still back to complete normal.

Food Aversions: Nothing.

Symptoms:  I still have that annoying prickly heat rash. My face has gotten better (good enough for me most days) but people are still pointing it out, asking me about it and drawing attention to it. When will people finally understand that it is not OK to do this?

Mood: So happy, excited, nervous and ready to be a momma.

Movement: Like I mentioned above, she’s moving big time this week.

What I’m looking forward to:  Bobby to come home.  He’s back out on the oil rig this week again. My mom is coming here after Valentine’s Day!  And possibly going to the 3D ultrasound when she is here. Oh…and my trip next month to Michigan. So excited!

What I miss: My hubby.  I hate being here alone.
